Goiz Eguzki and its role in the community

Goiz Eguzki is Hernani’s Senior Citizens’ Centre, a space for older people to meet and participate, where cultural, social and sporting activities are organised to promote active ageing, social interaction and community cohesion. Its work makes a vital contribution to keeping the town’s community fabric alive.

The Hartubol project

It is within this framework that Hartubol was born, a participatory sport inspired by team dynamics similar to volleyball, which promotes physical activity, camaraderie and active participation.
