Pursuant to the provisions of Personal Data Protection Act 15/1999, of 13 December, Electroquímica de Hernani S.A., hereby informs you that it fully complies with the current legislation on personal data protection and with the duty of confidentiality inherent in its activity.
Electroquímica de Hernani S.A., ihereby informs you that there are personal data files that are owned by Electroquímica de Hernani S.A., for management, communication and information purposes. Said files are registered in the General Registry of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, which the user may access in order to check their status.
SECURITY MEASURES AND LEVELS:
Electroquímica de Hernani S.A. has adopted the necessary measures to maintain the required level of security, according to the nature of the processed personal data and the manner in which it is processed, with the aim of preventing any modification, loss or processing thereof or unauthorised access thereto.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION:
The file structure, computers and I.T. systems used in order to comply with the current data protection legislation shall be used for all, temporary or permanent, files owned by Electroquímica de Hernani S.A., which contain personal data, as well as to any equipment or information system that processes them.
All personnel hired by Electroquímica de Hernani S.A. and its Treatment Managers, are obliged to comply with said regulations, particularly with regard to their duties and obligations, which shall be duly determined by Electroquímica de Hernani S.A..

When it is necessary to collect essential data from the user for the provision of the services, it shall be requested from them through forms or the website. When the data is collected, the user shall be duly informed of their rights.

EXERCISING RIGHTS:

CONSENT:

The data collected in all private communications between Electroquímica de Hernani S.A. and customers/users shall be treated with absolute confidentiality, with Electroquímica de Hernani S.A. agreeing to fulfil its obligation of secrecy regarding personal data and its duty to protect it and take all necessary measures to prevent any modification, loss or processing thereof or unauthorised access thereto, pursuant to the provisions of the Regulations on Security Measure for Files that contain personal data.
Furthermore, information of any kind exchanged between the parties shall also be considered to be confidential, as shall any that they agree is confidential in nature or which simply relates to the content of such information. Data being displayed online shall not imply permission to use it, without the express consent of its owner on each occasion.
We recommend that customers avoid disclosing any user ID, password or reference numbers provided by Electroquímica de Hernani S.A. to third parties. Likewise, to ensure that professional secrecy between Electroquímica de Hernani S.A. and the customer is protected in all communications, the customer/user should not reveal confidential information to third parties.
CHANGES IN THE SECURITY AND DATA PROTECTION POLICY:
Electroquímica de Hernani S.A. reserves the right to change its security and data protection policy to adapt it to new legislation or case law, or any changes arising from existing standard codes relating to this matter, or corporate strategy decisions, effective on the date on which said change is published on the website of Electroquímica de Hernani S.A..
